Casper woke up in a small, somewhat round room that resembled both a kitchen and dining room, along with a bedroom. Above a sink was a window covered in frost, and outside were branches of a tree. Standing at an oven was a girl, no taller than five feet and five inches, with wavy blond hair. She was wearing a black dress with long selves black pants under it. Something filled the room with the smell of maple syrup and pine needles. The boy felt cozy despite being in such strange surroundings.
